Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser so it can remember information between pages or visits. Similar technologies, such as tracking pixels and your browser's local storage, work in much the same way. In this policy, "cookies" covers all of them.

A small number of cookies are needed for the site to work. They aren't used for advertising, and they're used whether or not you accept other cookies.

cookie-consent (stored in your browser's local storage): remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics and advertising cookies, so we don't ask on every visit. It stays until you change your choice or clear your browser data.

admin_session: keeps Prime Equity staff signed in to the site's content editor for up to 7 days. It's only set for staff who sign in, never for visitors.

These load only if you click Accept on our cookie banner. Until you do, they aren't set and no information is sent to the companies below.

Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*): counts visits and shows us how the site is used, such as which pages people view. Kept for up to 2 years.

Google Ads (_gcl_au, and cookies Google may set on its own domains): measures whether our Google ads lead to inquiries, and can be used to show our ads to people who have visited the site. Kept for up to 90 days.

Meta Pixel (_fbp, _fbc): measures the results of our Facebook and Instagram ads, and can be used to show our ads to people who have visited the site. Kept for up to 90 days.

When these cookies are active, Google and Meta receive information such as the pages you view, your IP address, and details about your browser and device. If you send us a message through our contact form, they're told that an inquiry was made, and Meta may also receive your email address in hashed (encoded) form so it can match the visit to a Meta account. We never send them the content of your message or your phone number. Google and Meta use this information under their own privacy policies.

Our homepage includes a video hosted on YouTube. It's embedded in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, so YouTube doesn't set cookies for it until you press play. Once you play it, YouTube (owned by Google) may set cookies and collect information about your viewing under Google's privacy policy.

When you first visit, our banner asks whether to allow analytics and advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of every page. If you decline after accepting, those cookies stop being used from then on; to delete ones already stored, clear this site's cookies in your browser settings.

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The site still works if you do, but we won't be able to remember your choice, so the banner will appear on each visit. To limit personalized ads more broadly, use Google's My Ad Center (myadcenter.google.com) and the ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.

If the cookies we use change, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top.
